We don't collect real names, addresses, phone numbers, photos or your exact location, and we don't use your data to make automated decisions about you.

Ads

Ads keep Blob Empire free. They come from Google AdSense. Google can use cookies to show ads based on your interests and other sites you visit ("personalized ads"), to limit how often you see the same ad, and to stop fraud. For personalized ads, Google is responsible for its own use of the data.

Cookies and storage on your device

In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics and ads don't put anything on your device until you say yes in the consent message, and you can change your answer at any time. Until you say yes, Google may only receive basic signals without cookies (for example, that a page was opened), which don't identify you.

Who handles your data for us

We use these companies to run the game. They only use your data to provide their service to us:

Some of these companies are in the United States. When your data leaves the EU or UK, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell or rent your data for money. Under some US state laws, letting Google show personalized ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" data: you can opt out as described in "Ads" above.

Children

Blob Empire is a game for all ages, played by adults and children. Children can play without an account and without giving us any personal information.

Making an account needs an email. In the United States, we first ask the year you were born, and accounts are only for players 13 and over: younger players keep playing as guests, so we collect nothing about them. We keep the answer only on your device, so it can't simply be changed and tried again.

Everywhere else: if you are under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country (16 in many EU countries), please ask a parent or guardian before making an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a child without a parent's agreement, we delete it. Parents can email us at any time to see or delete their child's data.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Email eliotdupouy99@gmail.com. If you live in the EU, UK or Switzerland and aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to your country's data protection authority. In the United States, residents of some states (such as California) have the same rights, including opting out of personalized ads, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

Keeping your data safe

Connections to the game are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored scrambled. Each account can only read its own saved data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also show in the game's "What's new".
